1 cup sifted cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 Eggs
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
6 tablespoons hot milk
|Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder, and sift together three
times.

Beat eggs until very thick and light and nearly white.

Add sugar gradually, beating constantly.

Add lemon juice.

Fold in flour, alternately with hot milk, mixing quickly until batter is
smooth.

Bake at once in ungreased tube pan in moderate oven (350 degrees) 45
minutes.

Remove from oven and invert pan for 1 hour or until cold.

1 Cup Butter
2 Cups Sugar
3 Eggs
3 Cups Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon Mace
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 Cups Apples — chopped
2 Cups Pecans
|Mix all ingredients.

Bake in Bunt tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

1 st mixture:
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 tablespoons melted shortening
2 nd mixture:
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup nuts
|1st mixture: Mix dry ingredients well. Stir in milk. Beat well. Add
vanilla and melted shortening. Stir well. Pour in floured, greased pan.

2nd mixture: Mix the 2 ingredients together. Pour this mixture on top of
first mixture.

Pour 1 3/4 Cup boiling water on top of other mixtures.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
